Modernist ashtray "The Smile" designed by Hans Bunde for the Carl Cohr design house in the 1950s. Made of metal with a red lacquered interior. Dimensions: 9 X 7 X 5 cm (3.5 X 2.5 X 1.5 in). Weight: 170g (6.5 oz). A magnificent and completely timeless design. This item shows signs of wear due to its age, and some of the lacquer has chipped off the interior. A highly skilled silversmith and graduate of the renowned Cohr Silver School, he was heavily influenced by Wiwen Nilsson. Hans Bunde designed a wide variety of products in collaboration with Cohr Silver.
