1. DESCRIPTION: Designer ambient lamp in transparent bubbled glass by the great Italian artist Albano Poli (born in 1935) for the lighting manufacturer Poliarte, vintage from the 1960s (circa 1968). This lighting element from the Space Age period is composed of two non-separable thick glass parts, placed on a circular steel base. The lamp is equipped with European 220 V electrification. It is particularly heavy. The glass has a very slight avocado green tint. Four screws located under the base act as feet and allow the bulb to be replaced. The white cable, the switch and the plug do not appear to be original, they appear more recent. The lamp does not bear any signature or inscriptions. 2. CONDITION: The lamp is in good condition. A small chip is present at the base of the glass part, on the edge of the central hole, but it is hidden and therefore invisible when the steel base is screwed on (see photo 7). The lamp is in perfect working order, but rewiring may be required depending on your country's electrical standards. 3. DIMENSIONS: Height: 16.75 cm; Diameter: 9.75 cm; Weight: 2400 g.
