6 Vintage late mid century Marcel Breuer cesca chairs & a dining table by habitat

Rare late mid century habitat dining table and six matching chairs. The table and chairs are finished in a very rare stunning taupe grey finish. The last picture shows the original habitat advert for this dining set. The chairs are stamped, made in ltaly (19)86. Condition- shows some signs of age related cosmetic wear. The table has some general marks to the top, some lighter marks in areas to the surface and knocks and chips to the table edges. There is general wear to the grey finish throughout...but the table still looks a definite grey overall. The chairs have some scuffing to the paintwork, there is some rusting to a couple of the chrome on the chairs at the bottom. One chair has a part of the beading missing to the wicker (does not effect the use of it), one chair has a cover missing on the top of tubular chrome (again, doesn’t effect the use). See pics. The table extension is attached by two pins, the extension is easily removed if required. The extension works by lifting the table drop leaf and then sliding the table along until it sits central, a lovely easy to use design. Despite some wear overall the dining setis without a doubt incredibly striking. Measures approx: Table : width 90cm, height 74cm, length 136cm, extended length 193.5cm. Chair : width 46.5cm, chair depth 54xm, seat height 79cm/46cm, carver chair width 62cm.
