Beautiful interior scene representing a room in a parisian apartment bathed in soft light, with a green armchair and a bouquet of orange flowers, next to a window. The painting was signed by the french parisian painter m. Simonneau for marie marguerite simonneau who lived at 137 rue de vaugirard in paris. She exhibited her paintings at the salon des indépendants in 1954. The salon des indépendants is the annual art exhibition of the society of independent artists, organized in paris since 1884.
