Napoleon III medallion armchair — blue velvet and cross-stitch tapestry

Napoleon III style medallion back armchair, France, circa 1850–1880. Structure in carved solid walnut, cabriole legs ending in original brass casters. Seat and back upholstered in duck blue velvet, adorned with two medallions in tapestry with floral patterns (colours gold, red, and green). Scalloped trim on the reverse. Authentic piece retaining its patina and period upholstery. Collection in person only.
