Set of rustic bistro-style chairs, probably of Central European origin (Switzerland, Austria or Germany), dating from the 1950s-1960s. Each chair features a characteristic T-shaped backrest with two arched cutouts, a rounded and thick top rail, and three vertical supports. The solid wood seat, slightly recessed and trapezoidal in shape, offers natural comfort. It rests on four turned legs adorned with decorative fluted bulges. The wood, likely stained beech, displays a beautiful uniform golden honey patina with slight natural wear consistent with age. The dowel assembly, reinforced with metal pieces under the seat, is typical of the artisanal mass production of the time — a solid and proven construction. Overall good condition, with wear consistent with age. Dimensions per chair: H 85 cm × W 40 cm × D 38 cm — Total weight of the lot: 40 kg.
