Antique engraving of Primates: Ourang Outang, Lotong, Proboscis Monkey, Great Baboon, originally drawn by F Finch and engraved by J Lowry, published by Joseph Mawman 1826. The engravings in this collection are a very detailed dark gray on cream paper. The left side edge is serrated and they are blank on the reverse. Most plates have areas of foxing/tanning, which is normal. Paper size: 8 x 10.5 inches or 21 x 27 cm, approximately.
