Danish armchair by Hans Olsen for Lea Design, 1950s

Elegant mid-century Danish design. This chair is known as the Balloon chair by Lea - Copenhagen. Patinated suede leather. The frame of this attractive chair is made of metal, and the armrests are made of solid teak in a friendly shape. Comfortable and very photogenic. Minor manufacturing and typical age wear. Stained seat. As with all Olsen Balloon chairs, no label is affixed.
