Duo of pastel ceramic milk jugs – Lavender blue & vintage cream

Two milk jugs that seem to have always been destined to meet. United by identical lines and perfectly balanced proportions, they play on the softness of two pastel shades: a delicate lavender blue and a bright greige cream. Curved silhouette, highlighted by a discreet relief band under the collar, purity of shapes and quality of a satin glaze. The two pieces bear no stamp. Only moulded numbers under the bases testify to their manufacture, without allowing identification of the factory. In beautiful vintage condition, with time cracks at the bottom of the lavender blue jug as well as a fine hairline crack, and a few discreet signs of use under the bases, perfectly normal for antique pieces (see photos). Pale blue jug: height 10.5 cm, length 13.5 cm (spout handle), diameter at widest point 10 cm. Small cream jug: height 8 cm, length 10.5 cm (spout handle), diameter at widest point 7.5 cm. Estimated capacity: approximately 60 cl for the large jug and 25 cl for the small. A duo designed to traverse trends as naturally as it enhances an everyday table.
