Beautiful extendable table by Joseph André Motte, JER workshop. A design that transcends decades without aging. Light oak veneer, brass legs, solid and fluid lines. From 150 cm to 240 cm in one motion, It stretches, it adapts, it remains. Some old restorations on the veneer (on an edge and on an extension), But the appearance remains… and it does not hesitate, it extends. Joseph-André Motte (1925-2013) is the designer of the famous shell chairs of the Paris metro. Innovative and elegant, he left his mark on French furniture with his armchairs, lighting, and public spaces (Orly, metro, train stations). Winner of the Compasso d’Oro in 1970, he remains a discreet yet essential pioneer of French design. Additional information and photos available upon request.
