Tripod floor lamp with counterweight "Maison Lunel" – 1950s. Superb modernist counterweight floor lamp from the 1950s, attributed to the famous Maison Lunel. This iconic model perfectly combines geometric elegance with great functionality. Thanks to its articulated arm system and brass counterweight, it tilts with a gesture to transition from an intimate reading light near a sofa to a stunning designer lamp providing majestic ambient lighting. Its fine black lacquered metal structure rests on a very stable minimalist tripod base. The details in gilded brass (knobs, ribbed ring, and counterweight) add the chic touch typical of French lighting production from this era. It is equipped with its original large coral red fabric lampshade enhanced with golden trimmings, which diffuses a warm and soft light. Condition: Fully functional and in good overall condition. Electricity checked. Note slight signs of wear on the structure and a small discreet snag on the lampshade fabric (see photos), attesting to its authenticity and not detracting from its vintage charm.
