Italian pitcher textured amber glass 70's

Amber moulded glass produced in Italy, likely dating from the 1970s. Tall silhouette with flared neck, elongated handle, and thick heavily textured base. The geometric relief decoration captures light in a very changing manner depending on the angle: honey, caramel, and smoky brown reflections appear in the thickest parts of the glass. The top of the jug remains smoother and translucent while the lower part plays with an almost mineral texture. Typical moulded production of Italian glassworks from the Space Age / modernist period of the 70s. Presence of bubbles and slight material irregularities related to the manufacturing process. Can be used as a water carafe, vase for long flowers, or simply as a decorative piece on a wooden table or vintage sideboard. An object that clearly enjoys the late afternoon sun.
