Bistro chair with curved wood by Wojciechow No. 644, not Thonet.

Chair No. 644 from Wojciechów, Poland, circa 1925. This is a reproduction of the Kohn chair No. 369, which is recognised as a work by Hoffmann from 1910. This archetype has been used by about ten European manufacturers to develop their Secessionist production, see photo of 8 models attached. It is available with 5, 4, and also 3 vertical rungs, depending on the level of luxury one wishes to give to the object. The caning, which I assume is original, has 4 very wide strands (3 mm). American mahogany finish under shellac. Seat height: 46 cm, total height: 94 cm, seat: 39X41 cm. More photos and information available upon request.
