Superb & important Tiffany Art Deco chandelier Lumilamp is a prestigious light fixture made using the traditional artisanal method of Louis Comfort Tiffany. This type of pendant combines the geometric elegance characteristic of the Art Deco style with the authenticity of milky opalescent glass, entirely assembled by hand. Its elongated trapezoidal geometric shape is specifically designed to diffuse light evenly over a rectangular surface, such as a dining table or a billiard table. In very good condition, the metal structure has been repainted (I buy my items from a recycling centre that gets the paintbrush out as soon as they can!), the top of the lampshade (invisible once installed) is painted white. However, the whole piece was originally in gilded metal as some lacquer chipping can be observed.
