Pair of gilded Napoleon III chairs stamped Au Bon Marché Paris

Very beautiful pair of antique chairs in the Napoléon III style, made of gilded wood, with elegantly crafted backs and padded seats covered in their original beige and gold striped fabric. Both chairs bear the old inscription underneath the seat: "Au Bon Marché – Aristide Boucicaut – Tapestry Furnishings – Paris" The backs feature two different but perfectly harmonious designs, adding a lot of charm and authenticity to the whole.
