Vintage magazine rack from the 50s/60s in perforated brass – Matégot style
Vintage magazine rack from the 50s/60s in brass and perforated brass sheet – Matégot spirit. Description. Elegant modernist magazine rack from the 1950s/1960s. It consists of a fine tubular brass structure and a tray made of perforated brass sheet (mesh), typical of the design of that era. The upper brass handle is wrapped in black scoubidou wire for a comfortable grip and a stunning contrast. The entire piece rests on four flared flat brass feet, ensuring perfect stability. A graphic and functional object, ideal for storing your magazines or a few beautiful art books next to a sofa or armchair. Material: Authentic brass and perforated brass sheet (no imitation modern gold metal). Condition: Very good vintage condition. The brass has a beautiful natural and warm patina due to age (some slight surface oxidation marks, see the feet and edges, which attest to its authenticity without detracting from its shine).
