This is an authentic large traditional tribal rug from the Nemencha tribe, purchased directly in Tébessa (Algeria) in 1981 and brought back to France. It still has its original official label from the SAP (Société Agricole de Prévoyance - Section Artisanale de Tébessa) sewn on the back, attesting to its absolute traceability. Purchase invoice available. • Dimensions: 3.10 m X 2.10 m (Ideal area of 6.5 m² for a large living room or living space). • Colour: Cream background, bright and warm, with dark brown Berber tribal geometric patterns in general. • Material: 100% pure natural wool, handcrafted artisanal weaving. Long and very dense pile. • Unusual weight: 45 kg (nearly 7 kg/m²!), giving it impeccable weight on the floor, as well as exceptional thermal comfort and acoustic insulation. • Certified density: Official SAP marking indicating "min 400 / max 600 points per dm²", guaranteeing the fineness, regularity, and robustness of the handmade knotting. EXCEPTIONAL condition: Perfect state, absolutely never used. This rug has never been walked on. Due to a lack of space to install it, it has been carefully stored rolled up, protected from light and moisture since 1981. The wool is healthy, clean, ultra-dense, and the fringes are impeccable.
