Louis XV style bedside table in wood and marble
Louis XV style bedside table, probably dating from the first half of the 20th century, topped with a round marble surface in rich shades of brown and beige. Made from warm wood in mahogany tones — likely veneered wood on a sturdy structure — it is distinguished by its elegant chiselled bronze or brass fittings and small turned feet mounted on original castors. Its compact and refined format will ideally find its place at the end of a sofa in a living room or as an elegant bedside table in a cosy bedroom. Condition: The furniture is sound, stable, and perfectly functional, featuring a drawer and a small door that open easily. The piece shows a beautiful patina of time with some superficial micro-scratches from use on the wood and marble, as well as discreet signs of age consistent with its history (visible in the photos). These slight signs of wear testify to its authenticity without detracting from its classic charm.
