Rare and charming zoomorphic jug in slipware from the French manufacture of Onnaing, model no. 755, known as "Pig with Ham", probably dating from the 1920s-1930s. Representing a standing pig, this jug is distinguished by its expressive modelling, with its snout forming the spout and its handle at the back. Its uniqueness lies in its delicate monochrome glaze in flesh pink, almost skin colour, a finish that is uncommon for this model, which is more frequently found in polychrome versions. The piece bears the mark of the Onnaing manufacture under its base, along with the mention "Made in France" and the number 755 in relief. An original and characterful collector's piece, representative of the craftsmanship of French earthenware factories from the early 20th century. Dimensions: Height: approximately 21 cm. Total width, including spout and handle: approximately 22 cm. Condition: no chips, no cracks, see the detailed photographs to appreciate its state of preservation. Carefully and securely packaged for shipping, suitable for the fragility of this antique earthenware.
