Round vase signed JACQUET

Round vase with floral and bird patterns, signed JACQUET. 1930s. Superb small ceramic piece with a black interior and neck that highlights and enhances the item. Paul Jacquet is a French ceramist, active in the 1920s-30s, based in Annecy. He collaborates with the Primavera workshops and designers such as René Herbst and Francis Jourdain. He notably received a gold medal at the Paris Decorative Arts Exhibition in 1925.
