Pair of Oase easy chairs by Wim Rietveld for Ahrend de Cirkel 1958

Minimalist pair of Oase chairs designed by Wim Rietveld in 1958 for Ahrend de Cirkel. The chairs are newly upholstered with a nice grey/cream melange Ploegwol (100% wool) fabric, which is a high quality wool fabric with a soft touch. Also the foam is renewed. A classic Dutch design that gained the Signe d'Or price in 1959. They have a black steel frame. This version without armrests is less common and not offered a lot. Very minimnal appearance. The chairs are in very good condition. Just little traces of wear on the frames.
