Old swan-neck desk lamp

Antique desk lamp with a swan neck, featuring very beautiful decorative work inspired by Art Nouveau. It is distinguished by its heavy metal base with relief floral decoration, its elegant curved arm, and its adjustable metal reflector. The antique porcelain socket is equipped with its original rotary wooden switch. The lamp has retained a very beautiful old patina, with signs of use, oxidation, and marks of time visible in the photographs. The electrification appears to have been updated during its life, notably with a more recent cable. The connections of the socket have been checked and reattached. Lamp tested: it works perfectly. Cautious dating: first half of the 20th century, in the Art Nouveau style. A very beautiful piece for a desk, a library, or antique decoration.
