This mid-century table lamp called 'commissioner' was made in the former Czechoslovakia in the 1960s. It was produced by Elektrosvit n.p. under type 1012 01 and designed by Jan Suchan. The lamp is made of black bakelite and features a metal positioning mechanism. It is in very good original condition and is fully functional. This is one of the most well-known lamps from Elektrosvit n.p. Nové Zámky. The black bakelite shade is fixed on two metal bars connected by a swivel joint, allowing the height and angle of the lamp to be adjusted. The lamp's stability is ensured by a rounded, massive metal base covered with bakelite. It works with one E27 bulb and has a European plug.
