Wooden mirror with gilded stucco and beaded frieze, 45 x 37 cm

Mirror composed of a rectangular frame made of wood and moulded stucco in a golden colour, decorated with a beaded frieze running around the edge and a mercury mirror. The back is covered with a plywood panel and fitted with a metal hook for portrait hanging. In generally good condition, we have fully cleaned it and note signs of oxidation on the mirror, some material losses, as well as a faded gilding that contributes to its authentic patina.
