Lumiere brass floor lamp with glass uplighter France 1980s

This French floor lamp by Lumière from the 1980s features a distinctive architectural structure. A bundle of slender brass tubes forms the tall column, set on a heavy round base of black marble. At the top, the brass is finished with subtle decorative details and a wide bowl of semi-transparent glass. The glass softly diffuses the light upwards, giving the lamp a warm, indirect glow when switched on. The contrast between the dark marble, the warm brass, and the light glass bowl makes the lamp powerful without appearing heavy. The vertical lines emphasize the height of the design and give the lamp an elegant, almost monumental appearance. The lamp has the original Lumière mark on the base. The brass has a beautiful warm hue, and the marble base and other parts show signs of use appropriate to its age. These are visible in the photos and contribute to the lamp's original character. The lamp has been carefully cleaned and technically checked in our workshop. Height 182 cm, diameter of glass bowl 45.5 cm.
