An antique French Louis Philippe mirror with a silvered wooden frame, dating to the late 19th century. The mirror is believed to have been made as an apprentice test piece, based on its smaller scale and slim construction. The frame has a heavily weathered silvered finish with traces of gilt visible underneath, while its gently curved top and simple profile are characteristic of the Louis Philippe style. The original mercury mirror glass shows foxing and dark spotting consistent with age, adding to its antique character. The aged silver finish works beautifully in both classic and contemporary interiors. SHIPPING, CUSTOMS & INSURANCE *Free worldwide shipping is included.
