With its imposing silhouette and unique history, this former oak bar icebox is a rare piece from early 20th-century commercial furnishings. Measuring nearly 2 metres in length, it reflects the care once given to professional furniture, designed to last and serve multiple generations of use. Materials: structure and facades made of solid oak in its natural honey-gold hue. The interior and back are fully lined with original zinc, a noble, antibacterial material characteristic of professional iceboxes of the time. Original nickel-plated fittings and hinges on the five doors. Manufacturer's plaque in engraved brass on the front: "P. Sasseigne - General Layout - 8, Avenue G. Pallain - Montargis (Loiret)".
