West Germany Bay 93-25 vase, vintage fat lava red and gray ceramic

Superb vintage vase stamped West Germany – Bay, model 93-25, characteristic of the German ceramic movement of the 1960s–1970s. Made of glazed ceramic, it has a cylindrical shape with a side handle and a very graphic relief decoration. The central band, glazed in deep red, contrasts elegantly with the textured gray background. This treatment echoes the so-called Fat Lava style, emblematic of West German art ceramics. Its sculptural presence makes it a strong decorative piece, ideal for a West Germany collection or as a unique accent in a vintage, brutalist or mid-century modern interior.
