An exceptional Italian tripod table lamp from the 1950s. Historically known as a television lamp, it emitted a soft ambient light to rest the eyes. This very rare miniature version features a conical reflector in sage green lacquered aluminium, a beautiful and highly sought-after period colour today. The upper edge is highlighted by a brass ring, which perfectly complements the tripod base with its famous drop-shaped feet. Designed in the style of prestigious manufacturers of the time such as Stilnovo or Arredoluce, this iconic light fixture is presented in excellent vintage condition. It retains its original patina on the brass and its authentic lacquer, showing only a few discreet micro-points where the paint has chipped, certifying its 70 years of history. For discerning collectors, the electrical components are entirely original and fully functional. The lamp retains its ivory Bakelite olive switch, its period plug, and especially its exceptionally long 3-metre cable, ideal for installation anywhere. Technical Details and Measurements.
