Superb pair of neo-classical louis XV style armchairs stamped maison jansen made in the early 1940s. The structure is in cream patinated oak, the patina is really superb. They have been reupholstered with a very beautiful powder pink mohair velvet from zimmer + rohde. Very chic, in the pure spirit of the neo-classicism of maison jansen from the period 1920 - 1950. Really a very beautiful work of cabinetmaking, each armchair stamped jansen. Two other pairs of chairs from the same set are also available.
