Ruser & Kuntner table lamp, designed by Hans-Jörg Walter & Josef Kuntner, 1960s. An original table lamp by the German firm Ruser & Kuntner, designed by Hans-Jörg Walter and Josef Kuntner. The design embodies the combination of simple, geometric form and functionality that was characteristic of mid-20th-century German design. The lamp features a slender steel frame with chrome-plated elements and a distinctive cylindrical shade made from a light, paper-like material with a delicate, parchment-like texture. The simple chrome base, vertical stem and wide cylindrical shade create a very elegant, minimalist composition. When switched on, the lamp emits a soft, diffused light. This model is well recognised amongst collectors of vintage German design.
