Brutalist ceramic vase by Helmut Schaeffenacker, Germany circa 1960.

Very interesting vase from around 1960. An organic model completely in the brutalist spirit of that era by the German ceramist Helmut Schaeffenacker, numbered 495 under the base (see last photo). Its matte colouring in shades of grey-green and mauve gives it a very natural raw appearance that perfectly suits contemporary minimalist decor. Width 19 cm, depth 12.5 cm, and height 13.5 cm. In perfect condition with no cracks, chips, or scratches, this original vase stands on its own and does not require flowers.
