Vintage mid-century Danish mirror with tambour cabinet from 1950s 1960s. 46x67cm

Beautiful and elegant mahogany mirror with shelf and tambour cabinet. Might be used as hallway mirror as well as small vanity or bathroom mirror. Great quality materials and craftsmanship that make it stand out among modern pieces. Solid mahogany, great details like raised edge surrounding the top, brass fittings meticulously fitted into tambour door, delicate thin shelf inside the cabinet made of solid mahogany. Designed and manufactured in denmark in late 40s or 1950s when mahogany was still very popular wood choice just before teak and rosewood took over the lead. Resembles some of the elegant designs by danish prominent designers and cabinetmakers of that period like jacob kjær, gustav bertelsen, a.j. Iversen, l. Pontopiddan, johannes hansen... Just to name a few. Very good restored condition with minimal signs of wear.
