HB vegetable dish Choisy le Roi late 19th century ultra patinated

Ironstone vegetable dish HB Choisy le Roi, ultra patinated: what gives it its unique charm is its sublime tea-coloured patina from use. It's hard to believe it was originally ivory, especially since the stamp is sepia in colour. It must have been dark beige. Inside, a network of fine crazing in the glaze testifies to its authenticity and history. The worked handles and its timeless silhouette offer a very elegant line. Stamped with the Gold Medal HB Choisy le Roi: an antique piece from the Hyppolyte Boulenger factory, dating it to the late 19th century. In good antique condition, ultra patinated inside and out, with signs of use, and a hairline crack on the edge (see photos). Height 15 cm, width including handles 26 cm, diameter 19 cm at the opening, 21 cm at the widest point, depth 11 cm. An antique piece with a lot of charm and originality.
