Pair of "Mid-Century Modern" style floor lamps signed Abo Randers, Denmark, 1970s.

A refined pair of "Mid-Century Modern" style floor lamps made by Abo in Randers, Denmark, in the 1970s. Designed with simplicity in mind and characteristic of Scandinavian modernism, these lamps feature elegant tubular steel stems, circular bases, and gently curved lines of the semi-cylindrical shades that diffuse a pleasant light downwards. The contrast between the black and white finishes creates a refined visual effect, allowing this set to blend into a wide variety of interiors, ranging from Scandinavian and modernist styles to minimalist and "mid-century" aesthetics. Both lamps have retained their original finish and are in good vintage condition. Condition: shows only slight signs of wear, normal considering their age. The white lamp has several small paint chips on the shade, as shown in the photograph. Fully functional and ready for use.
