Interesting and rare set of painting knives of the famous model cluny or vieux paris, sleeves of black bakelite. Straight blade of stainless thiers forged steel, sterling silver virole, circa 1920s. The set of 8 dessert knives in this series are available and published nearby. Silent and strong simplicity. These knives in very good condition (a defect on a blade, photographed in close-up) would not withstand the stinging heat of the dishwasher. Length 24.5cm. Very sharp blades.
