Mid-century Danish height-adjustable armchair, 1960s

Vintage design. Small armchair of Danish origin with adjustable seat height. The armchair consists of two elements, the frame and the inserted seat shell. The seat shell is fully covered in striped fabric. The frame is made of solid wood. The four round legs are connected by simple bars at different heights. It is precisely these different heights that constitute the uniqueness of this design. The seat shell rests freely on these bars with wooden dowels. By rotating the frame, you can manually change the seat height of the armchair. The armchair is in very good condition with signs of wear and patina. The frame has some particularities and there are small holes in the fabric. Dimensions: H: 78 cm, W: 56.5 cm, D: 66 cm, seat height: 35.5-45 cm.
