Vintage Trava pendant - Carl Thore - Granahaga - Swedish design lamp

A striking Trava pendant in orange. This lamp is quite rare and proves that the Swedes also had a strong eye for design. Designed by Carl Thore for Granhaga Metallindustri in the late 60s. The lamp is built from stacked aluminum discs, hence the name Trava, which means pile or tower in Swedish. Thanks to its layered construction, the light reflects gently between the discs and creates a warm glow, especially in this vibrant orange version. Designer: Carl Thore.
