Walnut sideboard designed by Kurt Olsen and manufactured by Danish company Andersen & Bohm in the 1950s. The piece features an elongated body with rounded corners, supported by a raised base with four tapered legs. The front is defined by two tambour doors composed of narrow vertical slats, which slide sideways and retract towards the ends of the cabinet. Two recessed circular handles are integrated into the vertical rhythm of the doors. Inside, the contrast with the lighter wood highlights an arrangement of compartments with shelves and three stacked drawers, constructed with dovetail joints. The construction combines soft lines, careful woodworking and functional solutions characteristic of Danish cabinetmaking of the period. The doors open only partially, as shown in the photograph: the shutter mechanism locks them in place, as shown in the photograph. Good condition. It may show signs of age. Please pay attention to the photographs. AG411
