Chairs made in the 1960s, set of 4 available. Mid-century bentwood dining chairs Designed by Oswald Haerdtl for ton bystrice pod hostynem (successor to thonet in Czechoslovakia after World War II). They were made in the former Czechoslovakia in the 1960s. The chairs are made of bentwood, have a beech wood frame and are upholstered in burgundy leatherette on the seats. An interesting example of Czechoslovak design after the huge success of the Czechoslovak pavilion at Expo 58 in Brussels. The chairs are generally in good vintage condition, showing very slight signs of age and use (small scratches, etc.). The varnish is in very good condition. The price is for the set of 4. All solid and stable. In strictly original condition.
