Set of 6 Belgian brutalist oak dining chairs, 1970s.

Complete set of six Belgian brutalist dining chairs in solid oak, made in the 1970s, in the style of the creations of Guillerme and Chambron. The backrest is the signature of the piece: two horizontal slats cut from a wavy and sharp profile — the so-called razor blade silhouette — inserted into a frame of hand-shaped uprights. It is a heavy and sculptural form, softened by the warmth of the oak. The oak has a deep and warm patina on the six chairs. The seats have been newly reupholstered in off-white boucle, giving them a certain soft lightness. Structurally also in perfect condition.
