Exceptional sculpture in glass from the Czech glassworks Škrdlovice. This iconic model from the "Red Core" series, designed by Jan Beránek in 1959, is a flagship piece of the Mid-Century Modern period (1960s). A true organic work of art weighing 3.5 kg, hand-blown and hot-sculpted. The master glassmaker stretched the molten material to create these asymmetrical lobes typical of the era. A technique of great virtuosity (Sommerso): a magenta and violet pink core is encapsulated in a thick layer of azure blue crystal. The colossal thickness of the wall acts as a prism. Backlit, the colour fusions create spectacular baroque reflections. High-end craftsmanship: base perfectly ground flat and polished to optical quality. Remarkable state of preservation. A discerning selection for demanding collectors. Dimensions: Height 30 cm|Width 13 cm|Weight 3.53 kg. 📦 SECURE PACKAGING: Expert international shipping. The piece will travel in a custom cocoon (double cardboard and high-density foam). Vintage design, 50s 60s, Space Age, Pop Art, Murano.
