Rustic sculptural chair made from a solid pine stump. Hand-carved by Swedish cabinetmaker Göran Jalking. Marked Nr. 33, Oct 1968, Göran Jalking. Beautiful wood patterns on this vintage piece. The seat has been reupholstered in boucle, Tiree 1002 (Sand) from the brand BUTE, adding a touch of comfort to the piece. A beautiful brutalist wabi-sabi decorative object for a modern interior. A warm colour and patina that perfectly harmonise with the minimalist Scandinavian lifestyle. Scandinavian design is characterised by a minimalist and clean approach that seeks to combine functionality and beauty. It emphasises simple lines and bright spaces.
