1960s Wooden Wall Light with Sculptural Opaline Glass Shade

A wonderfully sculptural wooden wall light from the 1960s, believed to be of Czechoslovak origin. Its elegant silhouette brings together a tall wooden wall plate, a slender adjustable arm and a beautifully shaped cream opaline glass shade. The flowing curves of the glass provide a soft counterpoint to the architectural timber construction, creating a composition that feels playful, warm and perfectly balanced. With its expressive wood grain and Scandinavian-inspired character, the light works beautifully beside a bed, above a reading chair or as an atmospheric feature in a contemporary interior. The arm can be moved from side to side, while an on/off switch is conveniently positioned on the cable below the light. All components are original and functional. The lamp remains in excellent vintage condition, with only very light wear appropriate to its age.
