Set of 6 Rosewood Dining Chairs by H.W.Klein for Bramin. Produced in Denmark 1960s. Frame and backrest in rosewood, seating in woven papercord. Designed by H.W. Klein for Bramin in the mid-20th century, this set of six dining chairs is a fine example of Danish craftsmanship and understated elegance. Henry Walter Klein was a Norwegian-born designer who studied under Finn Juhl at the Danish School of Design. Working primarily in Denmark during the 1950s–70s, Klein became known for his refined, functional furniture with graceful organic lines, produced by respected makers like Bramin. The rosewood frames are beautifully sculpted, with rich, deep grain patterns that bring warmth and sophistication to any dining space. The gently curved backrests in rosewood as well provide both visual lightness and ergonomic comfort, while the woven papercord seats add a natural, tactile contrast to the lustrous wood. This combination of premium materials not only offers durability but also embodies the harmony and balance that define classic Scandinavian design. Each chair reflects Bramin’s renowned attention to detail; perfect joinery, graceful proportions, and a finish that enhances the natural beauty of the wood. Well-preserved examples like this are increasingly rare, making this set not only a stylish choice for daily living but also a valuable addition to any collection of authentic Danish modern furniture. Price is for the set of 6.
