Old auvillar earthenware plate, polychrome floral basket decor. Superb auvillar earthenware plate with floral polychrome painting decoration. Characteristic of auvillar, the floral basket decoration with beautiful flowers in flamboyant colors and thick lines contrasting with the softness of the green foliage and blue flowers. Enamel with crackle effect. Blue combed effect border outline. Late 18th century, early 19th century. A beautiful plate with artistic decor, for decoration and/or a collection. Dimensions: diameter: 21.8 cm, height at edge level: 2.8 cm weight: 487 grams. A very good quality structure which presents no fragility, no impact. Surface defects on the enamel on the back, the auvillar plates all have these small defects more or less marked, highlighted in photos no. 6 and 11. Matte finish enamel, with a cracked effect which gives it character. Perfectly preserved decor with colors of beautiful intensity. The plate is in very good condition.
