Former large wedding chest in massive cherry, dating from the 1850s. It is beautiful, has a superb patina and is in very good condition. Rosewood marquetry on the lower part of the furniture, dovetails and stylized feet. It has a hand-forged key lock. Luckily we found an old portuguese newsprint stuck in the back of the furniture dating from 1854. It tells us a little bit of his story... Dimensions: 125 cm long, prof 55 cm, high 67 cm, chest: 46 cm.
