Vintage wooden plate by Aldo Tura for Macabo Italy

Sculpted oval bowl in light walnut, from the Italian manufacturer MACABO (Cusano Milanino, Italy), dating from the 1950s. This piece is directly aligned with the textured design line developed by Italian designer Aldo Tura for the brand during the Mid-Century Modern period. The exterior features a beautiful handmade textured sculpture, offering a very graphic and raw appearance, while the interior reveals the warm, amber, and natural grain of the walnut. Equipped with two very elegant integrated handles. Walnut is a noble, dense, and highly decorative wood. Authenticity is confirmed by the presence of the original Macabo stamp, still perfectly visible under the base. Ideal on a sideboard, coffee table, or as a characterful catch-all. Very good vintage condition. Note the slight signs of use underneath and small, very localized scratches inside the wood that do not detract from its charm and testify to its history.
