French modernist wood turned table lamp in the style of Charles Dudouyt, 1940s

A gorgeous french modernist table lamp with vintage rope lampshade ( later addition ), ca 1940s-1950s. These lamps are often named in the style of charles dudouyt.the wood is in a lovely patinated condition as can be seen in the pics and the lamp will come with the vintage shade ( we believe it to be 70s - 80s with only some minor imperfections on the inside as can be seen in the pics ). The lamp has been refitted with a gorgeous brass fitting for general e27 lightbulbs and has been rewired. The base without the shade measures 50 cm and including the shade 61 cm.
