Sublime Bauhaus Valentino lamp by Metalarte. Spain 1976. A rare piece from this fabulous manufacturer. Originally designed by Wilhelm Wagenfeld and Carl Jacob Jucker in 1924. Reissued in 1976 by the renowned Metalarte manufacturer. The base is made of clear Plexiglas and chrome. It rests on a thick glass base (2 cm). The diffuser is made of opaline glass, rimmed in chrome. Manufacturer and country of manufacture are indicated on the structure (photos). Exceptional condition! Metalarte: Founded in 1932 by Antonio Riera Clariana, Metalarte is a pioneer in the global lighting market, committed to innovation and new creative values. In the 1960s and 1970s, it began collaborating with external designers. The 1980s saw the arrival of a new generation of professionals, while international business began to expand. Today, the company is part of the Luxiona Group (along with the Troll and Sagelux brands) and continues to renew its partnerships. The network of designers associated with Metalarte is now extensive and represents the best creativity available today.
